We don’t give up on kids and are committed to helping those who have failed in other systems. We do this by working to keep children and families safe, in their homes, in school, and out of the system. We give them the second chances they deserve. And we see the success of this work every day.
Our history
Brothers Keeper MN is a dedicated organization that has been actively engaged in empowering and supporting young males. Our mission is to provide a comprehensive range of services to help young men reconnect with their families, reintegrate into schools, and address the urgent needs of homeless youth by providing them with basic necessities such as food, clothing, and shelter. However, our commitment extends far beyond these immediate needs. We firmly believe in leaving no child behind, regardless of their race, ethnicity, or sexual preference. We strive to create an inclusive and accepting environment where every young man can thrive and reach their full potential. Brothers Keeper MN is here to support and uplift young males, ensuring that they receive the assistance, guidance, and opportunities they deserve.
Brothers Keeper MN is on a mission to support young men in getting back on their feet, finding employment, and addressing mental health challenges. We understand the importance of transitioning young men back into the real world, equipping them with the necessary skills and resources for success. Our organization is built on the principle of unity, reminding young men that they are not alone—we are their brothers. At Brothers Keeper MN, we believe in equipping young men with the skills and tools they need to thrive in all aspects of their lives. That's why we offer a wide range of training programs, including a barber workshop, anger management courses, and a host of other training opportunities. Our barber workshop provides hands-on training in the art of barbering, helping participants develop their skills in cutting, styling, and customer service. Our anger management courses focus on self-awareness, emotional regulation, and effective communication to help individuals manage their emotions and relationships. Additionally, we offer a diverse array of training programs covering financial literacy, job readiness, communication skills, leadership development, and personal growth. Through these programs, we strive to empower young men to succeed in their chosen paths, fostering their personal and professional development along the way.
